Alert Emails and Management
This update brings about redesigned alert emails and a new way to manage your alerts for a route.
New Alert Emails:
- Alert emails have been designed to provide more information about your route.
- Now you can see how much longer the route will take you to drive.
- Click a button to view your route on our traffic maps.
- Introducing the ability to view a route on our iPhone and mobile website traffic maps.

Other Changes:
- Added the ability to manage multiple alerts for a route in the route setup dialog. Alerts can be changed, removed, added, disabled, and enabled from here. Just click on the Setup Alerts button of a route to manage alerts.
- Batch editing of alerts.
- Changed the Save Route icon on routes to a floppy disk.
- Changed the Setup Alerts icon on routes to a pencil.
- Changed the Setup Alerts icon in route lists to a pencil.
- The edit alerts button on a saved route now reads "Setup Alerts".
- Made unsubscribing from alerts much simpler when using the unsubscribe link in emails.
- Improved the look and feel of the route UI in Internet Explorer 6.
- Other UI improvements.
Bug Fixes:
- When manually creating a route an error would sometimes occur stating that the end ramp was before the start ramp, this has been fixed.
- In some cases when a user logged in the route header would not show until the page was refreshed, this has been fixed.
- Other small bugs fixed.
From our Previous Updates:
Changes:
- You can now view your saved routes on the map from an iPad. (Note: routes cannot be created on the map from an iPad)
- Improved look and feel of the site on iPads.
- Alerts are no longer automatically created for the user after saving a route.
- The alerts button on a route now reads "Save Route".
- The alerts button on a saved route now reads "Edit Alerts".
- The alternate routes button on a route now reads "Alternate Routes".
- The alternate routes button on a route is now only visible if there are alternate routes.
- The routes drop down on the map page works better on low resolution screens.
- The route header has a show on map button when on the map page.
- The route delete dialog now provides more feedback while deleting.
- Updated older portions of the site to match the new UI aesthetics.
- Improved the look and feel of the new route UI in Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8.
Bug Fixes:
- The routes drop down on the map would not show for some users in Safari on OSX, this has been fixed.
- The route header now remembers your previously selected route or automatically selects the active route.
- The route header times now properly update when data is refreshed on the page.
- Routes opened from the route header now have a working edit alerts button.
- In some cases when a user logged in the route header would not show until the page was refreshed, this has been fixed.
- In some cases route alerts were not being saved correctly from the new route UI, this has been fixed.
- Other small bugs fixed.
